Shaman Devotees

... not just a faceless company.
At Shaman's core are 4 performing artists with a vast breadth of professional experience and determination. The unique strength of this team is their differing world views and ideas about art, coupled with a willingness to answer the hard questions. Packing a tight network of like-minded revolutionaries into a ticking parcel wrapped with ambitious passion, you get an organisation not seen since the Sicilian heyday...

Bryce
Almost immediately after graduating from WAAPA, Bryce flexed his ambition when he acted in and produced the Sydney premiere of Michael Gurr's 'Crazy Brave'. He's trod the boards with the Bell Shakespeare Co. (amongst others), starred in a TV series for SBS and made guest appearances on your favourite Aussie dramas, not to mention popping up on numerous TV commercials. Before the injunction, Bryce could often be found wandering outside schools wearing a sandwich board trying to drum up support for Shaman the best way he knows how. Now he spends his time rocking in corners and muttering quietly

Hazem
Hazem has a solid background of work in the entertainment and construction industries. He recently finished the design and implementation of alternative bolting methods for the Sydney Harbour Bridge, while moonlighting in the Company B spectacular 'Scorched' as well as five other Company B productions. Hazem has appeared in a feature film, a national theatre tour of a Sydney Festival show and single-handedly completed 'the Jones renovations in Drummoyne'. For Shaman, Hazem built the office out of various off-cuts and collects any outstanding debts with the help of his cousins.

Andrew
Andrew's work became well known in his late teens when he joined the cast of Neighbours as the character 'Lance Wilkinson', a role that he endured for five years. He then went into exile whilst training, and trying to undo all his bad habits. With a little understanding, he has found that perfect blend, performing for the likes of the Bell Shakespeare Co and B Sharp, not to mention a handful of (now axed) TV shows. Andrew also writes, directs and performs for Poetry in Action, vacuums the office, and randomly goes through the phone book ringing strangers to talk up the virtues of Shaman Productions.

Angela
Angela adds a touch of class and elegance to this group of misfits. She trained at WAAPA and also managed to bluff her way through a B.A. in Communications from UTS many moons before that. Ange relishes the glow of a theatre spotlight and her performances have been seen on almost every half-decent stage in Sydney (and a few decent ones as well). Ange's other passion is filmmaking. She is currently directing a quirky, black comedy and would some day love to be photographed on the red carpet at Cannes. For Shaman, Angela tries her best to keep the boys in check with regular fashion advice and personal hygiene tips.
