Poetry in Action provides the rare opportunity to see poetry brought to life through performance!

The POETRY IN ACTION programs are aimed at introducing all students to poetry in performance with new approaches in the study of poetry. The programs also allow older students the chance to revise their studies. The performances cover a wide variety of poems and poets, harnessing fundamental poetic techniques that will aid students both in their immediate studies and in their general understanding of literature.

Performances available include:

      POETRY AT PLAY     -     HOME GROWN POEMS     -      WORDS OF WAR

& the "BELONGING" MASTERCLASSES!

Poetry in Action's newest presentations, the MASTERCLASSES are interactive tutorials that allow open discussion about the theme of 'Belonging' in an informal and entertaining way. Tailored to senior students exploring the life and works of the poets Peter Skrzynecki and Emily Dickinson.
